An update with more power and a redesigned camera module that aspires to become the highest-end mobile with the new , cheapest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor on the market.

The Nubia Z40S Pro is a more profiled mobile than the previous model. We went from a screen with curved edges to a flat mobile, where the rear camera module has also been redesigned to make it more compact . It is a mobile with a more sober design, but inside it hides enormous power, worthy of the most advanced mobiles of the moment.

Nubia offers a 6.67-inch OLED panel with FullHD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz . It has a hole in the central screen, a fingerprint reader under this same panel, compatibility with HDR10 and a maximum brightness level of up to 1,000 nits. The screen ratio reaches 94.8%, being one of the mobiles with fewer edges.

Inside is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, along with various storage and RAM options. The basic model comes with 128 GB and 8 GB of RAM, but the most advanced model reaches 1 TB UFS 3.1 and adds up to 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM . Some numbers difficult to see today even among the most expensive mobiles.

For cooling it has a 3,062 mm2 vapor chamber and for the battery we have two options. A basic one with 5,000 mAh and 80W fast charge and a more advanced one with a little less battery, 4,600 mAh, but a 120W fast charge.

At the photographic level, the Nubia Z40S Pro incorporates a 64-megapixel main sensor. This is the Sony IMX787 with an f/1.6 aperture lens, OIS and 35mm. The triple camera configuration is completed with a 116º wide angle and 50 megapixels, along with an 8 megapixel telephoto sensor that also incorporates optical image stabilization.

In the case of the wide-angle sensor, it also allows macro images of up to 2 centimeters. On the front, a 16-megapixel sensor is added and is completed with Nubia’s NEOVision technology for image processing.

As for connectivity, nothing is missing. We have NFC, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB-C. The device has been presented in China and comes with its MyOS 12 customization layer, along with Android 12 .
